The final round of the popular reality TV show called "Rancangan Aksi Video" came to a close yesterday as Muhammad Syazli bin Hj Duming emerged as the champion with 7,160 votes for his video clip entitled 'Brunei Drift'.
The competition was broadcast live from Dewan Raya, Radio Television Brunei (RTB), Bandar Seri Begawan.
First runner-up was Ak Mohd Fadhullah Iskandar bin Pg Mohd Su'ud with his video clip entitled 'Macam Si Banar' that garnered a total of 6,325 votes and Widuri bte Maidin Jumlah with her video clip entitled 'Me Vs My Self' collected 6,300 votes.
The winner brought home a cash prize of $3,000 as well as a Sony 32" LCD TV that was sponsored by Multitrons Sdn Bhd, while a Sony Handycam and a cash prize of $2,000 were awarded to the first runner-up. The second runner-up was awarded with a cash prize of $1,000, as well as a Sony Home Theatre System, which was also sponsored by Multitrons Sdn Bhd.
The prizes were given by the guest of honour, Awg Hj Saiful Bahri bin Hj Awg Mashor, Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Prime Minister's Office.
Also present during the event was Pengiran Hj Mahari bin Pengiran Hj Abdul Razak, Acting Director of RTB, as well as loyal supporters for the 'Aksi Video' finalist teams.
Local singers and dancers were also on hand to entertain the evening, as well as a comedy sketch performance by popular local comedian Awg Kudil and Dang Kasum.
